You don't need a Hue Bridge to control Perifo. You can control Perifo track lighting with Bluetooth, or add a Hue Bridge to unlock the full suite of smart lighting features. 

Yes. All Perifo lights can be controlled with Bluetooth.

When you're adding lights to your Perifo track lighting set-up, you should keep two things in mind: the wattage of each light and the space the lights, power supply units and connectors take up on the track. Each Perifo power supply unit can power up to 100 W of lights. The number of lights that will physically fit on your rail depends on the total length of your track. Yes, some of them! Pendant lights can be raised or lowered up to 1.5 metres. Spotlights can be angled, while the gradient light tube can be rotated. 

When used with Perifo components, including lights, the track lighting set-up was designed to support any number of lights that can fit on the rail.

Perifo track lighting only works with Perifo lights.

Yes. Perifo track lighting does not require a certified installer, meaning you can install it yourself. Keep in mind that some installation steps may require two people. 

It depends on the power supply unit you choose. 1-point and 2-point power supply units are wired into your home's electricity via an electrical box on the ceiling. A 1-point power supply unit with a plug is meant for wall set-ups and can be plugged into a standard plug socket. 

Perifo lights' LEDs – which last for many years! – are integrated into the light itself, meaning you cannot change them. 

Yes! Perifo is customisable, meaning you can add lights or extend the rails at any time. Check out our Guide to Perifo track lighting page for more information.

Perifo track lighting needs three main parts: rails, a power supply unit and lights. You can add corner connectors to create a 90-degree angle, a straight connector to connect rails together in a line or an extension cable and electrical box cover to adjust the placement of your set-up. 

Perifo lights click into the rails, making them easy to install – or even rearrange. 

You can slide the lights from right to left once they are clicked into the rail.

Yes. Each Perifo light appears individually in the Hue app. Group them into a Zone to control them all at the same time.
