Yes. Festavia string lights produced during or after 2023 are designed for indoor and outdoor use. However, they should not be submerged under water.

Can I add Festavia string lights to an Entertainment area?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Festavia string lights are White and color ambiance. As with any color-capable Philips Hue light, you can add Festavia string lights to an Entertainment area to sync your lights to your favorite song or playlist.

Can I extend Festavia string lights?

Accepted Answer

Festavia string lights cannot be extended at the end of the string. However, you can power multiple string lights at the same time with the outdoor low-volt system. Adding them in the app in the same the same Room or Zone to control them at once.

For Festavia permanent string lights can be extended up to 150ft of pod string cable.

How far apart are each of the lights on Festavia string lights?

For all versions of Christmas Festavia string lights (100 LEDs, 250 LEDs, and 500 LEDs), the LEDs are spaced 8 cm apart.

For the Festavia globe string lights, the bulbs are spaced 88cm for NAM and 70cm for EU.

For Festavia permanent string lights, the pods are spaced 57cm.

What size Christmas tree can Festavia string lights cover?

It depends on how far apart you want your lights to be. The 20-meter version of Festavia string lights, which features 250 LEDs, was designed to fit Christmas trees up to 7 ft/210 cm tall with standard spacing. Festavia string lights come in three different sizes so you can choose the best size for your tree.

Can I cut Festavia string lights to size?

Festavia string lights were not designed to be cut. They are designed to be use as one continuous strand.

Only the Permanent Festavia lights you can cut the pod string at any location to make a perfect fit. you do need to seal the cable end in a safe manner with the provided cable end piece. Please turn power off when doing this.

How should I store my Festavia string lights?

Accepted Answer

Festavia's christmas lights packaging doubles as a storage box! Using the straps that are attached to the string, secure the string lights together. You can then place them back in the box neatly.

Why do I still see Festavia in my Philips Hue app after I've unplugged it and taken it down?

Accepted Answer

Like any other Philips Hue light, Festavia will remain visible as "unreachable" in your app if it's unplugged. If you want to remove it from the app, go to Settings > Devices > Lights, select Festavia, and tap Delete.

Are light effects affected by the direction I hang the string of lights?

Accepted Answer

No, you can hang the string of lights in any direction you choose. The direction of the light effect can be flipped in the app.

Can I connect my Festavia lights to an exisiting Low-volt system?

Accepted Answer

Yes, All Festavia products launched in 2023 and after are designed for use with a Low-volt system. Ensure the total string light wattage does not exceed the wattage of the power supply unit. The maximum length a string light can be extended by is 10 meters.
