This unit replaced a failed power supply for a Hue Light Strip. The new one is fine, but I can't deny I'm disappointed the one that came with the light strip failed in the first place. It was out of warranty, but only 3 years old. Oh well. I guess they don't make 'em like they used to.

Although I'm sure the power adapter works fine, Philips has changed the size of the barrel plug pin from the original and made it thicker. As a result, the barrel plug from my Hue Lightstrip v2 does not fit and this power adapter cannot be used.
