The Play gradient lightstrip requires a Hue Bridge-controlled smart lighting setup and a Hue sync box (both sold separately). Use the Hue Sync desktop or mobile app to customize the way your lights react to the content on your TV screen.
Can I plug the Play gradient lightstrip into the power supply unit for my Hue sync box or Play light bar?

No. Please use the power supply unit included in the box for your Play gradient lightstrip as plugging the lightstrip into the same power supply unit as the Hue sync box or Play light bars can impact the performance of your Philips Hue products.
