Very nice but not perfect

The filament bulbs are an attractive alternative to regular hue candelabra bulbs, and the ambient bulbs provide a nice variety of color tones compared to the white filaments. Two issues impacting my rating negatively are: 1. The range of brightness control (dimmer range) from min to max brightness is much narrower than the incandescent bulbs they are replacing, particularly on the low light end where the incandescent bulbs can get much dimmer before turning off. 2. They are obviously very expensive.
Nice bulb. Shame manufactured with mild defects

It is a really nice bulb, I love the ability to set color tone. However the manufacturer inn quality is Not very good, I ordered 4 bulbs and each of them came with visible scratches/issues on the glass.
Great bulb. May be too bright for a table light.

It works great but the clear bulb makes it hard to work with on my table lamp. I need to keep it pretty low so it's not such a hot spot in people's eyes. I do love it though!

Elegant lights for my chandelier that can glow like fully dimmable candles. Too pretty to be covered by shades. The black bases are versatile enough for any decor.
Pleased with my Purchase

All of could of hoped for, other bulbs of this type from different brands just do give me as much lights, or they are the typical warmer hues, I enjoy cooler lights in my space so this does the trick
Adjustable color temp is a winner!

So many lights today are designed for Edison bulbs. Dimmable was great but the orange was a little much. We love being able to adjust the light temperature to match the room!
A great bulb for a classic look

Love this filament bulb. We changed out our front lamppost globe for a taller one more in line with our neighborhood, but the bulb that we had used before looked very small in it. This tall smart bulb with a filament was perfect. The filament gives a great old-time feel, and we were able to eliminate the wonky light sensor that turned the old bulb on and off, replacing it with the Hue smart settings to turn on at dusk and off at dawn.
These bulbs are so cool

Originally I bought the "White" filament globe but it was way too orange. I have already made the mistake of buying the "white" normal bulbs.. My advice is to only buy the "White Ambiance" bulbs to give you more control over the color of the light. That being said these bulbs are gorgeous and amazing. The Philips Hue system itself is incredible and I keep adding more and more lights. The motion sensors have become my new favorite toy!
Missing the red spectrum of light

The new filament bulbs are a vast improvement over past versions that had only one color temperature. However, they lack much of the red light found in the visible spectrum so color matching to any surrounding lights that skew to a mid warm white is very tricky. I.e. You can find the same color temperature, but the missing color spectrum will make it feel off.
Won't work in any fixture that has a dimmer switch

Bought these for use in a ceiling fan/light combo which is controlled by a wall dimmer switch. The bulbs do not turn on at all, regardless of what light setting the dimmer is at. I searched around our house and all fixtures with edison bulbs, except the hallway, have dimmer switches. Not putting $45 light bulbs in the hallway.
