Poor sealing standard for an outdoor light

Hi Team, It seems to be a design issue as even the 2 pieces I purchased (Amazon) are also having the same issue. In fact even worser than the one previous member reported. It looks very ugly as tiny insects and spiders are able to get through the sealing. Please let me know what's the solution for my issue. I have attached few photos supporting my claim. I use this inside in my small entryway room that works as a sort of airlock to prevent animals from getting out. It's got a high ceiling so this fits beautifully and I specifically love being able to put up special colors during Halloween so it is visible from the street when my existing porch light won't kick on until it detects closer steps.

There is a tiny hole in the bottom but enough for the tiny flies to get into the unit. Design team needs to be creative to seal that hole!

We replaced a lantern style light on our garage with this. We ordered it online and we were a tad skeptical of the quality before it arrived. After it arrived, that skepticism quickly disappeared. It is not a cheap piece of plastic, it's metal and has some weight to it. The install was a simple process, nothing special needed to be done. Removed old bracket, installed new one, connected wires, tightened fixture down...done. We also purchased the outdoor wall light and are using it as a flush mount above our front door soffit. I have only 1 gripe about the lights, the Hue app. The app works great, just lacks a feature that I would have expected to be there. When you are assigning colors, you only get a color wheel. There needs to be RGB values or something, so you can EXACTLY state the color rather than "eyeing it". This also prives usefull when using IFTTT or routines.
