With Philips Hue smart track lighting, you can! Perifo smart track lighting is different than other track lighting systems because it can be mounted on the ceiling, wired into your electricity, or mounted on the wall and plugged into a power outlet.

You don't need a Bridge to control Perifo. You can control Perifo track lighting with Bluetooth, or add a Bridge to unlock the full suite of smart lighting features.

Perifo track lighting has three types of power supply units:

1-point PSU: This power supply unit is placed at the end of a rail on the ceiling.

2-point PSU: This power supply unit is placed between two rails on the ceiling.

1-point PSU with plug: This power supply unit is plugged into a wall outlet.

Choose the power supply units based on where you want to want to set up and power Perifo track lighting.

Perifo track lighting can be installed on the ceiling or the wall. Power supply units made for the ceiling wire into your home's electricity, while power supply units made for the wall plug into an electrical outlet.

Yes! Perifo track lighting is customizable, meaning you can set it up any way you like. Track lighting kits come with a full setup, but if you want to extend your rails or add more lights, you can order additional separate parts in the Hue Shop.

Perifo track lighting needs three main parts: rails, a power supply unit, and lights. You can add corner connectors to create a 90-degree angle, a straight connector to connect rails together in a line, or an extension cable & electrical box cover to adjust the placement of your setup.

The Perifo extension cable & electrical box cover lets you adjust the distance between the electrical box on your ceiling and the Perifo power supply unit. The cable pulls out from the electrical box cover to attach to the Perifo power supply unit, pulling taut without the need for additional hardware.

Yes. Each Perifo light appears individually in the Hue app. Group them into a Zone to control them all at the same time.

Yes. Though the power supply units were designed for either the wall or ceiling, if you have an electrical box on your wall, you can use the ceiling power supply unit. Conversely, if you have a wall outlet on your ceiling, you can use the wall power supply unit.
