The Philips Hue ambiance gradient lightstrip was not designed to be used with a TV or a monitor, but you can still use it there. However, Philips Hue Play gradient lightstrips are a better option for TVs or monitors. There are two versions: one designed for TVs and one designed for monitors. The Play gradient lightstrip comes with all the necessary mounts and adhesives and was calibrated to provide the best color experience when used with a TV or PC monitor.

Claims that it can be cut and has markings to do so. I made the cut exactly as instructed and in the right location only to be told by Philips tech support that it is irreparably damaged. Perhaps your "cutting" feature isn't ready for prime time. Submitted warranty claim through their website and waiting to see if I will get a replacement or if I just trashed nearly 200 bucks.

The lights don’t work. I turn them on and only 4 inches of the 80 inch strip light up. I would like an exchange. Please send replacements with a return shipping label to send back the defective lights. Thank you

Very nice lightstrip. Installation was a little tedious, as Phillips decided that instead of having one long singular strip covering the adhesive, they would have a bunch of paper strips covering only about an inch each. Not only that, the adhesive they use is a little weak. I almost pulled off some of it while attempting to get one of the many paper strips off the adhesive. Other than that, it's easy to connect and configure. I do wish there were more effects for these strips though. I'd love to see the ability to edit preset effects (such as fireplace) and change the colors as well.

Be very careful in the application in which you use these lights. it is not like the light strip, the gradient strips you can only bent a little bit, or they completely die. I bought these to go underneath my kitchen cabinets and it completely cut off the remaining of the LED lights at the end of the strip by about 6 inches!

They changed these in sync app, you can no longer move or set vertically or put what side the plug is on, used to love these now they're useless in entertainment area, just sits in one spot like the hue play TV lights.
