Claims that it can be cut and has markings to do so. I made the cut exactly as instructed and in the right location only to be told by Philips tech support that it is irreparably damaged. Perhaps your "cutting" feature isn't ready for prime time. Submitted warranty claim through their website and waiting to see if I will get a replacement or if I just trashed nearly 200 bucks.

The lights don’t work. I turn them on and only 4 inches of the 80 inch strip light up. I would like an exchange. Please send replacements with a return shipping label to send back the defective lights. Thank you

Very nice lightstrip. Installation was a little tedious, as Phillips decided that instead of having one long singular strip covering the adhesive, they would have a bunch of paper strips covering only about an inch each. Not only that, the adhesive they use is a little weak. I almost pulled off some of it while attempting to get one of the many paper strips off the adhesive. Other than that, it's easy to connect and configure. I do wish there were more effects for these strips though. I'd love to see the ability to edit preset effects (such as fireplace) and change the colors as well.

I got this at the same time as the longer main unit & I'm glad I did. It was the perfect length for replacing old buzzing fluorescent lights in the trimmed out balcony enclave area around the vaulted / sloped ceiling in the finished first floor office. I normally leave the whole high wall to purple - pink. Much brighter than I thought they were going to be! I would buy another extension to wrap around the wings of the paneled balcony.

They set up for these lights is simple. The vibrant colors that it gives off are amazing. For someone who used to build his own LED lights. This makes it very simple no hassle no programming just plug and play and use their app for multiple scenes. Then add other products to make your home theater even more exciting. Color matching technology for movies. In one word! FUN!

Absolutely love then. I only wish two things. It would be nice if you made your own app to program the lights instead of having to use 3rd party ones like Lumia. Also, it would be helpful to be able to take the start part and put it onto a different strip in case you want to add more in the opposite direction. Aside from that I love them.
