We have these on our main tv, synced with the screen and they are so cool. But I bought some for my office nook in my room. The lights are stylish and easy to install/set up with the Hue bridge. At night it is great to set the different themes and be able to control everything from the phone.

I have a small one bedroom condo and this light bar really topped off the mood. The more ambient light the better! Put it behind the TV as advertised and its awesome. I haven't quite found the ease on eye strain as it proposes it helps with but as I keep using it maybe i'll notice. It not only looks great for any mood, but also just lights up the dark corner that the TV was sitting behind in my place. My picture really doesn't do the bar justice but I have paired with one of many other hue bulbs including the one in the picture. The way the light looks its also going to depend on your tv placement and living room setting. Mine is in a corner so it looks no where near the website sales photos! Customize it to you!

Watching movies without hue lights is a big mistake. I bought this light to go with my play HDMI sync box and its amazing!

The white and color ambiance light bar solved a long standing goal I have had for lighting an art glass piece. It is flat and has fused pieces of dichroic glass. I had no solution to having a lighting that was not easily seen and would light the entire piece. Having had experience with Hue bulbs the light bar solved this. I placed a cardboard box over the bar with a long narrow slit that restricted light output to a narrow plane and slightly tilted the glass so the entire front was illuminated. The additional ability to change the color of the illumination makes it exquisite. The light maximizes the detail in the dichroic pieces.

We LOVE the hue lights!! We have replaced our lamps for these lights. Our favorite part is being able to match whatever we are watching on tv. Totally suggest the buy! Worth the money!
