Question 2

How many feet of LED string lights do I need?

Accepted Answer

It depends on what you want to hang your string lights on. If you are hanging your string lights on a 2-metre (7-foot) or smaller Christmas tree, the 20 m (65.6 ft) version of Festavia string lights is a good fit. If your Christmas tree is taller, use the 40 m (131.2 ft) version. To hang your string lights in other places, measure the space — but make sure you leave enough room to wrap the string lights around the object, such as a pole or along a bannister.

Question 3

How do I decorate with smart string lights?

Accepted Answer

String lights can be used during the holidays on your Christmas tree or wrapped around the railings for a magical touch. During the rest of the year, you can use string lights outdoors on your backyard patio or indoors in your or your kids' bedrooms. They're versatile, colourful and — best of all — smart.

Question 4

How do I use indoor decorative string lights?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the look you want! String lights, for example, can be used during the holidays on your Christmas tree or wrapped around the railings for a magical touch. Some wall-washing smart table lamps, such as the Iris table lamp, create splashes of color on the wall. Tuck LED strips, such as the ambiance gradient lightstrip, underneath shelves or behind side tables to create larger washes of color throughout the space. Mix and match your smart decorative lights to create a unique color experience — and change it whenever you like!

Question 5

What are the best Christmas tree LED string lights?

Accepted Answer

The best Christmas tree lights are smart string lights, since you can control them with an app, smart switches, or even motion sensors. Because Festavia string lights also offer a gradient of color, they're the perfect decorative lighting accent for your Christmas trees. Start from the base of the tree and wrap the string lights around to the top. If you have a particularly large tree, you may want to use two string lights intertwined with each other to make sure they are evenly spread.
