A bit difficult to use for automatic sensing

The installation of the camera into the app is not very intuitive especially if you do not own a huge bridge or have the QR code handy. eventually, I was able to set up the camera and connect to my existing Phillips account. If you do have lights, the camera and lights are on very different pages. This is a wired camera so it does need to be plugged in at all times. I have realized that the camera if indoors does not do a great job of motion sensing or identifying movement in the light and only seems to capture movement automatically when the room is dark and the night vision is on (when unarmed). It will capture automatically when the system is armed though. This isn't ideal for me though as I would want to capture movement without the alarm going off. Additionally, the app is not ideal in how it explains the difference between armed at home and armed away, especially as I am using it indoors so there is minimal difference.

I installed my Phillips Hue camera about a week ago and so far I am impressed. It was so easy to install! We have the free plan right now, but I will upgrade eventually. I already had the Phillips Hue app for my smart lightbulbs, so it was easy to add a camera. The footage is clear and reliable, and we haven’t had any issues so far!

This is one of the best security camera and it is very easy to install. It has high quality features. And the size is not too big, so it can fit outside your garage, or in front of your front door it's really easy to set up

We have been using many products from Philips and they are all good quality. The hue security camera is paired well with our hue smart lights. It has high quality as usual

The Hue Secure Camera is, without question, one of the most disappointing smart home products I've ever purchased. For a premium-priced camera, I expected premium performance. Instead, I got unreliable software, limited functionality, and a system that feels white-labeled. I regret buying it and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Save yourself the money and look elsewhere - this is easily one of the worst products you can spend your money on.

I bought 3 cameras a while ago because hue promised to support apple home in the future, well that “future” has never arrived and looks like Philips hue has completely abandoned their promise. The cameras themselves are garbage with the hue app and on top of the price hue wants 99$ subscription for these garbage cameras. I have completely lost any trust in this garbage company if they promise something and fail to deliver

I purchased two Hue cameras hoping to start phasing out my aging Arlo system. I love Hue lights and have been a longtime unofficial ambassador for the brand, so the idea of consolidating my cameras and lighting into a single platform is very appealing. I was immediately disappointed by the lack of Apple Home support. Based on the product description mentioning Apple Home compatibility, I assumed the cameras would be supported as well. Aside from that, the video quality is noticeably better than my Arlo cameras, but the Hue app still feels much less useful for managing video. Because the Arlo app is designed specifically around cameras, it makes it much easier to quickly view all cameras, see recent activity, and browse recorded videos. Hopefully, over time, Hue adds Apple Home support and improves the camera and video experience within the app. I’m optimistic about the platform, but for now, I won’t be replacing my Arlo cameras with Hue.

This security camera works well by providing an extra sense of security. It comes with mounting hardware and fairly easy to install. Once you download the app, you’re able to monitor live feed and manage your camera.
