Overall a good camera and system. Camera quality is really good but the nightmode quality is not as good. Mounting system is pretty easy to set up and I like that you get some playback for videos with the free subscription.

I normally get wireless. But where we decided to put the camera, we could have hid the wire through an actual fixture. I am very pleased with how easy this was to install. The appearance is great. You actually do not have to use the stand. It is super easy to understand when you're downloading the app. It's also compatible with our ring system. The clarity is perfect. Overall we love it.

This camera is a complimentary item for my room. I used to be insecured of having a camera in my room since a clever hacker can easily access to my room through the camera that is located inside the room. However, this camera is highly recommended for security and privacy so I would definitely try this out this time and will be monitoring the system and security access
Great camera but not much mobility

Upon unboxing the camera, I noticed that there is no base that can stand on the floor. There is a magnetic base which you screw to the wall either indoor or outdoor and it does not have any movement options other than rotating. That being said, I do like the video and audio recordings. They are clear and crisp making it easy to see faces on screen. Overall grade is A-

Was this security camera easy to install? Yes! Does that mean it’s immune from your husband accidentally installing it WAY too low outside your garage? Unfortunately, NO! Other than that, it paired easily with out other Hue devices, and we could finally get rid of our old security system that rhymes with the word “ding”. Love hue products! The only note I would have is that I wish it had a bit more range of motion on the device itself, and an easier way to hide the cord.

Philips hue allows you to monitor your home in real time and is good for indoor and outdoor use. It comes with an app that let's you control everything easily. Video and picture is in 1080 HD so the video and picture quality is great! Mounting was a breeze and I have no doubt I'll be using this camera for years to come. I give this camera a 9/10.

The Hue Secure Camera is, without question, one of the most disappointing smart home products I've ever purchased. For a premium-priced camera, I expected premium performance. Instead, I got unreliable software, limited functionality, and a system that feels white-labeled. I regret buying it and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Save yourself the money and look elsewhere - this is easily one of the worst products you can spend your money on.

I bought 3 cameras a while ago because hue promised to support apple home in the future, well that “future” has never arrived and looks like Philips hue has completely abandoned their promise. The cameras themselves are garbage with the hue app and on top of the price hue wants 99$ subscription for these garbage cameras. I have completely lost any trust in this garbage company if they promise something and fail to deliver

I purchased two Hue cameras hoping to start phasing out my aging Arlo system. I love Hue lights and have been a longtime unofficial ambassador for the brand, so the idea of consolidating my cameras and lighting into a single platform is very appealing. I was immediately disappointed by the lack of Apple Home support. Based on the product description mentioning Apple Home compatibility, I assumed the cameras would be supported as well. Aside from that, the video quality is noticeably better than my Arlo cameras, but the Hue app still feels much less useful for managing video. Because the Arlo app is designed specifically around cameras, it makes it much easier to quickly view all cameras, see recent activity, and browse recorded videos. Hopefully, over time, Hue adds Apple Home support and improves the camera and video experience within the app. I’m optimistic about the platform, but for now, I won’t be replacing my Arlo cameras with Hue.
