A Great Upgrade to the Original

As a long time Philips Hue user I bought this as an upgrade to my original Bridge as I'd run out of capacity to add new devices. This happens when you fall in love with the system and decide to swap all your lights to be Philips Hue devices :-). The upgrade was extremely smooth and all my lights, switches and sensors were transferred flawlessly. Not only that, but all the setting and automation rules were also transferred perfectly. It literally could not have gone more smoothly, I was seriously impressed with it - 10/10. Now to add more devices :-)
Still doesn’t sync with WiFi 5g! Only 2.5g!

MI’ve been a Philips Hue user for over a decade, and I’m still completely obsessed with the ecosystem. Over the years, I’ve gradually replaced virtually every light in my home with Hue products, so I consider myself a pretty serious Hue enthusiast. The Hue Bridge Pro was therefore a very exciting upgrade. After more than ten years with the same central piece of hardware, this was long overdue, and I’m genuinely thrilled with it. It feels like a proper next generation of Hue: faster, more capable, and perfectly suited to larger setups, while retaining everything that makes Hue so great. If you’ve been using Hue for years and have built up a serious setup, the Bridge Pro is a fantastic upgrade. I’m absolutely loving it and can’t wait to see what comes next. Ten years in, and I’m still completely obsessed with Hue. Keep it up, Philips! 💡🧡

Huge connectivity issues, cannot maintain a WiFi connection. Will not talk to the Apple Home Hub when wired on Ethernet, only on Wi-Fi. Wish I’d never bothered.

Sadly a very poor piece of equipment and not worth the money. It doesn’t sync with the old Hue bridge so set up is miserable. Finding the ‘how to’ is like looking for a needle in a haystack. This will be going back and my days of Hue are numbered.
Such a fantastic solution with no rewiring.

I have a current project where I have to replace old LED GU10s and make them nice and dimmable. But the junction box for the lighting is in an ornate ceiling, and only a switched live at the wall switch. I have Control4 and Lutron installed in the building and both integrate brilliantly with Hue. We have decided to replace all the E27 lamps and GU10 in all public areas of the hotel with Hue now, they were so impressed.
Doesn’t work, refund please

Doesn’t find any devices, sticking with original which does work fine. Support were less than helpful.

Migration to Bridge Pro didn't work & system still a little buggy. Fairly satisfied but yo cannot change an account's email address!!!

Cannot transfer data from previous Hue Bridge to new Bridge Pro - this was a Key USP that has not delivered . Still waiting to software patch.

Smooth transfer from the old (10 Years, still working) bridge makes this a good upgrade. Transfer process copes with snags (devices not up to date due to low battery, unplugged devices etc.) nicely.
