FAQs
How many lights do Signe gradient lamps appear as in the Hue app?
Signe gradient floor and table lamps appear as individual lights in the Hue app.
Can I use Signe gradient lamps with other Philips Hue lights?
Yes. Signe gradient lamps function as any other Philips Hue light and are easy to add to your existing smart lighting system.
How do dynamic scenes work on gradient lights?
Dynamic scenes make your lights slowly cycle through that scene's colours. Gradient lights show several colours of the light scene and slowly cycle through them.
Can I use Signe gradient lamps in an Entertainment area?
Yes! You can use Signe gradient lamps as you would any other light in your Philips Hue system. Place them in an Entertainment area, add to your automations, control them with smart accessories or your voice, and more.
What does "gradient" mean?
We use the word "gradient" to describe products that offer multiple colours of light at the same time, such as the Signe gradient floor and table lamps or the Hue Play gradient lightstrip.
What's the difference between the original Signe lamps and the Signe gradient lamps?
Signe gradient lamps offer multiple colors of light at the same time over their entire length. The older Signe could only produce one colour of light at a time. Additionally, the new design has a rounded base and is available in black, white and oak.
Do I need a Hue Bridge to control the Signe gradient lamps?
No – Signe gradient lamps have built-in Bluetooth, so you can control them without a Hue Bridge. Adding a Bridge Pro unlocks more Hue features, including Entertainment features, MotionAware automations and more!
